PROJECT CODE
HOG-R-08
The name derives from the central double-height volume anchored by a monumental, fluted travertine feature wall that visually connects the vertical levels.
BUILDING CONFIGURATION
Building Type: Independent Villa Storey Count: G+1
This private residence is organized around a central double-height volume that establishes vertical connectivity and maximizes daylight penetration. The core spatial intervention is a monumental fluted stone cladding that rises through the atrium, emphasized by integrated vertical linear lighting and a sculptural glass chandelier.
The interior architecture balances distinct material palettes to zone functions. The communal areas feature a neutral, textural vernacular with travertine and beige upholstery , transitioning into a moody, high-gloss blue lacquered finish with gold accents in the formal lounge. Private quarters utilize warmer timber tones; the master suite employs dark walnut paneling and leather detailing for intimacy , while secondary bedrooms prioritize connection to the outdoors through sliding glazing and private courtyards.
Glass balustrades and open shelving on the mezzanine level maintain visual permeability across the floors. The design prioritizes indoor-outdoor integration, with the dining and kitchen areas extending fluidly into the tropical landscape.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
- Vertical Materiality: The use of floor-to-ceiling fluted stone cladding in the atrium accentuates height and acts as the project's primary focal anchor.
- Zoned Atmospheres: Distinct separation between the serene, neutral open-plan living areas and the saturated, high-contrast formal lounge featuring blue paneling and fluted glass screens.
- Transparency & Light: Extensive use of glass in balustrades, wardrobe cabinetry, and folding doors ensures light propagation and visual continuity throughout the home.
- Landscape Integration: Ground floor spaces, including the kitchen and guest bedroom, feature direct, barrier-free access to lush boundary gardens.
- Bespoke Joinery: Custom joinery defines the functional zones, from the grid-patterned leather headboards in the master suite to the illuminated glass-fronted walk-in closets.
