Casa Vertical Explanation: The name references the defining vertical timber slatting that wraps both the exterior facade and interior feature walls, creating a rhythmic visual continuity.
BUILDING CONFIGURATION
Building Type: Independent Villa Storey Count: G+2 (Ground, First, Terrace Level)
The Linear Envelope represents a rigorous exercise in material continuity and biophilic integration. Designed as a holistic turnkey residential project, the villa blurs the boundaries between the architectural shell and the interior experience. The design language is anchored by the rhythmic use of vertical timber slats—appearing first on the facade to modulate privacy and sunlight, and reappearing internally to clad focal walls and conceal joinery.
The spatial planning prioritizes flow and transparency. Large-format glazing in the living and dining zones ensures constant visual access to the peripheral landscaping, allowing natural light to wash over the material palette of cool grey marble, warm walnut veneers, and soft textured wallpapers. Distinct zones are demarcated not by walls, but by subtle shifts in flooring and lighting temperatures. The residence features bespoke joinery, including a gallery-style walk-in wardrobe and a minimalist kitchen island, culminating in a roof terrace that frames the surrounding tree canopy.

- Material Duality: A balanced contrast between the coolness of grey stone flooring and the warmth of natural timber joinery creates a tactile, grounded atmosphere.
- Curated Light: Lighting is treated architecturally, with integrated LED strips in joinery, floating stair treads, and hand-blown glass pendants acting as sculptural elements.
- Transitional Spaces: The staircase and landings are utilized as gallery moments, featuring skylights and curated art placements to activate circulation zones.
